Our Vanadium Redox Battery (VRB) is a new kind of efficient electro-chemical energy storage unit for photovoltaic systems and is one of the most promising and recent energy storage solutions, in which energy can be stored indefinitely in a liquid form and retrieved instantaneously. Because now some renewable system such as wind-power, solar energy are influenced by climate and wind force, then the electricity output is not stable and fluctuated so as to cause the decrease and waste of electric energy. Our VRB products can effectively solve these problems and improve the safety and security of electric grid and create chances for power living for next generation.
The main advantages of the our vanadium redox battery is that it can offer almost unlimited capacity simply by using larger and larger storage tanks, it can be left completely discharged for long periods with no ill effects, it can be recharged simply by replacing the electrolyte if no power source is available to charge it, and if the electrolytes are accidentally mixed the battery suffers no permanent damage. The main disadvantages with Vanadium redox technology are a relatively poor energy-to-volume ratio, and the difficulty in storing and handling large volumes of the (somewhat corrosive) liquid electrolytes.
